Sheila Ann Word

Sheila Ann Word, 56, passed away on February 27, 2026. She was born on December 4, 1969, in Oklahoma City.

Sheila was preceded in death by her mother, Cathy Jo Johnson, and her three brothers, Dusty Wooten, Jesse James Wooten, and Bobby Jo Wooten.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 36 years, Randy Word; her daughters, Kathleen Wooten and Krista Mouille (Leroy Mouille); her cherished grandchildren, Samantha Arnold (Jacob Arnold), Tristan Smith, Brantley Mouille, Nathan Mouille, and Abigail Mouille; her great-granddaughter, Ophelia Arnold; and her sister, Tiffany Wooten.

Sheila loved the outdoors and found great joy in fishing, boating, gardening, and caring for animals. An avid homesteader, she took pride in creating a warm and self-sufficient home filled with love, hard work, and resilience. Her strength, independence, and deep devotion to her family will be remembered always.

Sheila’s legacy lives on through the family she nurtured and the many lives she touched with her generous heart and unwavering spirit.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the Wildcat Pavilion at E.V. Spence Reservoir.
