Shirley Ann Halfmann, 90, of Robert Lee, Tx was called to her eternal home in heaven on April 7, 2026 in San Angelo, Tx.
Rosary service will be held Saturday, April 11 at 9:30 am with the funeral services at 10 am at Sacred Heart Cathedral - 20 E. Beauregard Ave., San Angelo, Tx. Burial will follow on Tuesday, April 14 at 10 am at Paint Creek Cemetery - 8.5 miles West of Robert Lee, Tx on SH158. Arrangements by Harper Funeral Home and Crematory - San Angelo, Tx.
Shirley Ann was born December 24, 1935 in Eola, Tx to Adam and Pauline (Hollas) Michalewicz. She graduated from San Angelo Central High School and married David Joseph Halfmann on May 29, 1954 in San Angelo, Tx at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Together, they had 5 children, David Jr., Roy, Susan, Victoria, and Patrick, and raised them in Lamesa, Tx. There, she worked as a bookkeeper for many years with Lamesa Butane and Lamesa Apparel. Upon their retirement, her and David moved to Robert Lee, Tx. She enjoyed fishing and gardening and cooking for her family. She loved to sew and made many keepsakes for her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Robert Lee, Tx.
She was met in Heaven by her husband, David Joseph Halfmann, parents, Adam and Pauline (Hollas) Michalewicz, siblings Ernest Michalewicz, James Michalewicz, Rose Lee Schultz and Lorene Wilde, daughter Victoria Lee (Halfmann) Cantu and grandsons Charlton Jacob Loftin and Nathan Ross Halfmann.
She lives on in the hearts of her sister Betty Simon of Albuquerque, NM, sister-in-law Evelyn Michalewicz, sons David J. Halfmann Jr. of Robert Lee, Tx, Roy Halfmann and wife Susan of Lamesa, Tx and Pat Halfmann and wife Teresa of Pottsboro, Tx, daughter Susan Loftin and husband Gene of Sundown, Tx, her grandchildren Stacia Loftin-Coleman, April Loftin-Garbay, Kimberly Halfmann, Sabra Shea (Cantu) Kuehner, Brian Halfmann and Jonathan Halfmann, and great grandchildren Ariel Loftin, Kaydence Loftin, Avery Goad, Mia Coleman, Zayd’n Coulter, Nikki Garbay, Mavie Garbay, and great great grandchild Oakley McWhorter, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers.
