Vinnie Margret Summers

Vinnie Margret Summers, age 79, passed away August 2026 at Lyndale in San Angelo, Texas. 

She was born February 3, 1947, in Valentine, Nebraska; daughter of Verble and Inez Summers.

Vinnie served her country in the United States Air Force for 20 years, serving in many countries around the world, with pride and dedication. She retired as an NCO Tech Sergeant later in 1986. Settling in Ainsworth, Nebraska to enjoy her first love, her horses and servings her local Legion as District 1 Commander, Ainsworth Nebraska. The last years of her life, she lived in San Angelo, Texas she had her lovely family nearby and her beloved cats, Pokey, Boots, and Princess as her loving companions. 

She is survived by her sister Nanna Howlett, Brother in laws Sheldon Howlett, sister Elizabeth Ann Haft, Brother-in-law Eugean Hart, sister Peggy McConnell, brother-in-law Edward McConnell, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her Parents Verble and Inez Summers.
