Wanda Marie Peterson

Wanda Peterson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023. Wanda was born October 21,1928, at the Baily Ranch west of Eldorado, Texas, to EH and Etta Ruth Dannheim. She attended school in a one room school house at Baily Ranch and graduated from Eldorado High School in 1946. She attended San Angelo College and San Angelo Business School. It was in San Angelo that Wanda met Lt. Dale M. Peterson, a flight instructor and pilot with the USAF. They were married on May 10, 1952, in San Angelo. He proceeded her in death on August 15, 2009. She was also proceeded in death by her parents, her two brothers and their wives, Donald Ray Dannheim and Vonnie, and Sherrill Dannheim and Nancy. Surviving Wanda are her two sons and their wives, Alan Peterson and Norma, and Eric Peterson and Kim. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Jeremy Peterson, Jeffery Peterson, Kristin Peterson Buchanan and Derek, and Ryan Peterson and Randee, as well as four great grandchildren, Sterling and Harrison Buchanan, and Rhett and Reed Peterson. Wanda also leaves behind a very dear nephew, Chase Dannheim and his family, as well as other nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens
