The Funeral Assistant plays a supportive role in funeral services, assisting Funeral Directors in providing compassionate, respectful, and professional care to families during their time of need. This position requires attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in sensitive situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup, transportation, and execution of funeral services, visitations, and memorial events.
• Drive funeral vehicles (e.g., hearse, limousine) in a safe and professional manner.
• Escort and direct families and guests during visitations and services.
• Help prepare facilities, including chapels, arrangement rooms, and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Assist with floral arrangements, tribute displays, and guest registry setup.
• Maintain a respectful and dignified presence at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting.
